The Floating BioCleaner is a technology that is completely different from other biological treatment technologies. The main difference is that the biodigester itself continuously produces its own microorganisms that break down organic waste. It is significantly more efficient and can be easily integrated into existing SBR or activated sludge technologies. Usually, half of the total SBR tank area is sufficient to install the entire system, while the remaining area can be used for other purposes, and no transfer pumps are required.
This biological water treatment method is based on the ability of microorganisms to break down suspended, colloidal, and dissolved organic matter. Continuous aeration ensures uniform and continuous microbial growth, distribution, and activity. Coordinated groups of microorganisms begin to break down and “digest” organic pollutants, converting them into suspensions and colloids, which are oxidized into mineral substances, CO2, and water.
BioCleaner uses aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms, so the system works effectively both in the presence of oxygen and in limited amounts of oxygen – it is in such anaerobic zones that odors are usually most intense. Unlike chemical neutralizers, BioCleaner does not mask odors, but biologically breaks down their source.
