Description
Noggerath® Continuous Belt Screen BS is the ultimate solution for the mechanical pre-treatment of wastewater and water
The Noggerath® continuous belt screen BS is distinguished by its ultra-fine and durable mesh, which has been specially developed for the efficient treatment of wastewater and water. The most important feature of these Noggerath® continuous belt screen BS is the continuous, slowly rotating hook belt, made up of a large number of extremely robust and resistant elements. This belt is able to efficiently grab and remove various types of debris directly from the channel and smoothly extract them from the liquid. The solids accumulated at the upper point of the grating are removed and the descending belt is thoroughly cleaned by means of rotating blades and a spraying device. This continuous cleaning ensures that the grating will return to the medium (liquid) completely clean.
Benefits :
- Efficient handling of loads. The exceptional flexibility of the belt allows the separation of heavy and irregularly shaped materials directly from the channel and to cope without difficulty with even the most unexpected forms of debris such as wood, stones etc. This increases the applicability and performance of the mechanical cleaning system.
- High mechanical resistance. Reliable and extremely robust belt elements ensure long-term use and low maintenance. They have high mechanical strength, stiffness, impact resistance in cold conditions and excellent shape retention in warm weather.
- Intelligent and unique design. The unique design prevents contaminants from returning to the medium or process to be cleaned, avoiding recontamination or reduction in cleaning quality. A layer of particulate matter accumulating on the surface of the belt provides an additional filtration effect, increasing filtration efficiency and environmental protection. .
- Easy maintenance. The design without submerged bearings reduces the costs associated with bearing maintenance. The ability to replace individual elements of the belt increases the reliability of the system, reduces stopping times and enables the belt grilles to be used for long periods without replacing the complete set.
- Space and construction cost savings. The 85° installation angle allows efficient use of space and reduces the installation area of the belt grate, Easy integration into a variety of treatment systems, tanks or compact combination plants, providing flexibility and convenience during the design and installation phases.
- Stability and safety. The continuous design of the belt grating protects the system from overloading and the self-cleaning process minimises staff intervention. The system’s efficiency is therefore maintained over a longer period of time, ensuring stable and long-lasting operation even in the presence of large volumes of debris.
